Restaurant at the Hotel Julius in El Jem - Top!Located directly at the amphitheater, ideally reachable on foot in about 3 minutes. The restaurant is air-conditioned and has a nice view of the pool. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was delicious and inexpensive. A clear recommendation after visiting the amphitheater!

Stayed here for two nights as part of an Explore tour. Nice room with everything I needed, and perfect location for visiting the amphitheatre and museum. Small but nice pool area as well as a second outdoor seating area, and reasonable restaurant. The manager was very welcoming and keen to help as needed.

I had been concerned about earlier reviews saying the lobby area was smoky but this has now changed, there wasn’t any smoking inside and it was a nice area to sit and relax.

Despite a regional electricity outage beyond the hotel’s control, Mr. Faicel handled the situation with total professionalism, empathy, and speed. He personally ensured we received a full refund without any hassle. Exceptional management like Mr. Faicel's proves that this is a top-tier hotel, and we will definitely be back in the future!

Advantages: The hotel is ideally located for visiting the El Jem Colosseum, just a 5-minute walk away. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted very warmly and the service was impeccable throughout the stay. The rooms are comfortable and offer a breathtaking view of the Colosseum. A very nice experience that I can only recommend!

We stayed at Hotel Julius for a concert at el Jem and it was perfect. Great walking distance from the amphitheater, a nice shaded pool, and fantastic breakfast.

Advantages: Incredible location. Close to all major attractions of the city. The hotel itself is antic and photogenic. The room had a wonderful view on the amphitheater. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Best part was the welcoming and adorable hotel team who were responsive to all our inquiries. Disadvantages: None

A short but amazing stay at the Julius of El Jem. Undoubtedly the best hotel in El Jem and we did not regret having chosen to stay more than half a day in this historic city. The hotel is located a few steps from the amphitheater and the museum which was nice to give everyone time. The reception and the rooms have an antique and so photogenic atmosphere, unique from our complete stay in Tunisia. The room had an unmissable view, directly on the amphitheater. We didn't close the curtains all night while looking at the majestic amphitheater. Decent meals and attentive waiters. The pool was clean and peaceful. Finally, the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. They even organized a transfer for us to our next destination. We would have liked to have stayed longer but our stay did not allow. We'll probably come back. I recommend this hotel as a haven of peace during your stay in Tunisia.
